❀ My story
Tumblr media
Since I started here, I wanted to share my passion for fandoms I’m into as well as projects I began to work on. I came across so many artists and writers that inspired me in so many ways that gave me the inspiration to be both a writer and an artist that works on my own thing as well as fanfics in the form of comics. My first one of Fairy Tail became a big success thanks to not only the support of my readers/friends but the artist that helped me put together it in the first place who I’ll always be thankful for, since then I started to seek guidance from other writers in hopes to help me improve on future works! As a writer wanting to be more experienced I like to seek out some help from other people I greatly admire to try and make friends and gain more knowledge. Sadly though, I later learned in some communities that some writers have been disappointing and become a let down when they sometimes misunderstand you and judge you for thinking you're not worth anything here on Tumblr.
Due to those past and sad experiences it caused me to be haunted by those harsh criticism especially when they didn’t turn out as nice as you thought they would be and I almost quit completely due to how hurtful they were. It doesn't help that I’m really sensitive and autistic certain people don’t understand. But! Thanks to loving supporters from kinder people who praised my talents when it came to not only my love ones and even celebs I met who further support my work, even kind company’s like Lowbrow who went to the trouble of making a personal uplifting message for me… they are what showed me that I’m still loved and admired by others that motivated me to keep going and be strong enough to continue what I love to do best as well as to also inspire other people to unlock their imaginations! I don’t know what I would have done if it weren’t for them who touched my heart greatly… ❤️‍🩹
It’s not easy how we all sometimes start out, that’s why I want to also encourage other great, kind and talented people too to keep pursuing your passion no matter how some people might criticize you. Also to watch out if you're part of a roleplay community and be careful who you try and reach out to because they won’t always act as nice as they seem. They can be very judgmental when it comes to how they think you write they wouldn’t want to bother with as well as even jump to harsh conclusions, especially if you’re just starting out. But to those who are nice and encouraging to others no matter the difference I happily praise and hope they will always bring joy of writing to inspire many more people out there! Cuz that’s the true meaning in the writing and roleplay world, being respectful and to enjoy pursuing what you love to do best. 🫶🏻
Always get to know people and never jump to conclusions who you first interact with, know them by heart before ever judging because you never know how hurtful you end up being towards some people if you decide to resort to blunt criticism to those who might be sensitive. My goal is to bring smiles as that’s always what I aimed for here is to share the fun in creativity from our imaginations. 😊

The Pressure to Prove: How Expectations Stack and Why You Don’t Owe the World Anything
We’ve all felt it—that growing sense of pressure to live up to what others expect of us. Whether it’s in school, at work, or even within our friendships and families, the weight of expectations can be crushing. And the more successful or talented we are, the higher those expectations seem to climb. Every achievement, every accolade feels like a new promise we must fulfill. But here’s the truth: you don’t owe the world anything just because you’ve achieved something great.
Let’s dive into why expectations stack, how they affect us, and why you shouldn’t let them control your life.
Why Expectations Stack
When you’re good at something, people notice. They praise you, reward you, and offer opportunities. At first, this feels great—after all, who doesn’t like recognition? But over time, those positive reinforcements come with an invisible price: expectations.
Achievement Becomes a Baseline: Once you succeed at something, people start to expect it. If you did it once, why not do it again—and better? This turns your achievement into the bare minimum.
The More You Give, The More People Expect: Whether it’s your time, your energy, or your talents, the more you give to others, the more they come to rely on you. This isn’t inherently bad, but it can lead to you feeling like you owe them something.
External Validation Fuels Internal Pressure: When we receive praise or recognition from others, it can feel like we need to live up to that image. Over time, the need to maintain a certain level of success or to exceed expectations creates internal pressure, even when no one else is asking for it.
The Emotional Toll of Constantly Trying to Prove Yourself
The pressure to prove yourself over and over again can take a serious toll on your emotional well-being. Here’s how:
Burnout: The constant drive to meet or exceed expectations can lead to exhaustion. Trying to live up to others’ ideas of who you should be leaves little room for self-care or relaxation.
Perfectionism: The pressure to always do better can create a mindset where nothing you do feels good enough. You become your own harshest critic, setting unrealistic standards that are impossible to maintain.
Loss of Identity: When you’re constantly living to meet other people’s expectations, you may lose sight of what you want or what makes you happy. Your goals and desires get buried under the weight of others’ demands.
Why You Don’t Owe Anyone Anything
Let’s be clear: your achievements, talents, and gifts do not obligate you to anyone. Here’s why:
Success Doesn’t Come with Strings Attached: Just because you’re good at something or have been rewarded for your talents doesn’t mean you owe people constant performance. Success is a personal achievement, not a contract with the world.
Your Worth Isn’t Based on What You Do for Others: People will often tie their expectations to your worth, but your value as a person isn’t contingent on what you can produce or give. You don’t need to prove your worth through your actions or achievements.
You Have a Right to Set Boundaries: It’s okay to say “no.” It’s okay to protect your time, energy, and mental health. Just because someone expects something of you doesn’t mean you’re obligated to fulfill it, especially when it’s at the expense of your own well-being.
Expectations Are Infinite, But Your Energy Isn’t: There will always be more expectations, more demands, more pressure. But you’re human. You have limits. It’s essential to acknowledge that you can’t—and shouldn’t—do everything.
How to Break Free from the Pressure
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the need to prove yourself, here are a few strategies to help break free:
Set Clear Boundaries: You have every right to set boundaries with people. Whether it’s at work, with friends, or even family, let them know what you can and can’t do. Practice saying “no” when something doesn’t align with your values or capacities.
Focus on What You Want: Shift your focus from what others expect of you to what you want for yourself. What goals make you happy? What passions fuel your soul? Pursue these, even if they don’t align with others’ expectations.
Challenge Your Own Inner Critic: Sometimes the pressure isn’t from other people—it’s from yourself. Practice self-compassion. Remember that you don’t need to be perfect to be worthy. Embrace your humanity and allow yourself to fail or fall short without it impacting your sense of self-worth.
Seek Support: Talk to friends, mentors, or a therapist about the pressure you feel. Sometimes just acknowledging the weight of expectations can help you see how unfair they are. Surround yourself with people who encourage you to set boundaries and prioritize your well-being.
Conclusion: You Are Enough
At the end of the day, remember this: you are enough—not because of what you achieve or how you meet others’ expectations, but simply because you exist. Your worth isn’t tied to the approval of others, and you have no obligation to meet anyone’s expectations but your own.
Let go of the pressure to constantly prove yourself. You don’t owe the world anything. What you do for others should come from a place of generosity, not obligation. By setting boundaries and focusing on what you truly want, you can live a more balanced, fulfilling life free from the crushing weight of expectations.

Justin baldoni decided to adapt It Ends With Us because he thought that stories about domestic violence, and specifically escaping and life beyond domestic violence deserved to be platformed.
Instead of being supported, he’s been mean girl’d by the cast; that’s treating the film like its this cutesy rom com : and I think this rly encapsulates everything that’s wrong with the book, and the fanbase it’s amassed

Mouthwashing textures: from BookandNotebook_Color
Now here, observe. Cool diagrams that vaguely resemble stuff you'd find in some math book. Calculus, perhaps? Physics, possibly. I dropped out of engineering school so I'm not qualified to say. Look at me now, the artist, writing nonsense text to fill out these pages. Here's an important-looking chart: (* Diagram that probably means something) Here's text sample number two. This is just a PSA to be kind to service industry workers. They have it rough, and I would know, I did it before too! Be nice. Thank you. I trust that you, who are playing this game and will never actually read these little text blurbs, are a good person and don't need to be told to be a decent person. I'm sure you already are. Despite what you may think considering the themes of this game and where it's going, I have some faith in humanity. Some. So be nice. I feel like maybe this text so far could be interpreted as a little wallowing and, like, cynical! Don't worry, I'm having the time of my life. Genuinely, it looks very disingenuous when I'm reading it back, but I promise I really am. I couldn't think of a more enjoyable job than this. I mean, come on, I'm filling out a stand-in for a very professional and official-looking book with a bunch of random nonsense, train of thought kinda stuff. Isn't that awesome? I'm having a cuppa tea, mint, if you must know, with a bit of honey from lavender nectar. So luxurious. It's important to treat yourself once in a while. I hope you too can enjoy some fancy honey in your tea, or in your coffee if you're into that sorta thing. Personally I think it's tastier than sugar. Well. Anyway. Here's another math thing, this page needs some more graphics. Isn't math wonderful? No. No, it isn't. That's why I'm an artist, and not an engineer. I wasn't too good at any of that. It is cool, though, conceptually. I'm just a hater because my brain can't comprehend numbers very well. Just never seems to make sense. So the world is lucky I decided to make a career change. Just in case I crossed some wrong wires or something. Swansea's got it, though. He's a good engineer. Got the brain for it. Daisuke maybe not so much. But don't tell him that.

📣 I don't know who needs to hear this, but get out of that relationship that isn't healthy for you mentally and physically. I know you're afraid of starting over and a lot of time has been invested, but it's time for you to free yourself and put yourself FIRST. If they truly loved you, they would have listened to your feelings and concerns. They would have done the proper work to make changes. They would've respected your boundaries. They wouldn't have gaslit/manipulated/lied to you or made you question yourself.
The more you take someone back or stay with them after they disrespect you, the more they will continue to play in your face and disrespect you. You deserve healthy, genuine love and top tier treatment, not toxic and struggle love. 🩷
Also, remember you can't save everyone, but you can definitely save yourself.

A Glimpse into Connection

Wishing You the Best
So, here's a simple but heartfelt message just for you: I wish you the best in life. 🌠 May your days be filled with moments of joy, laughter, and love. May you find strength in challenges and solace in the beauty of everyday moments.
